I discovered magnetic wellness products (and no, all magnets are not equal) when a friend I had just met insisted that I buy these funny shoe magnets. Well, I did and guess what? I could walk/stand more easily and travel in the car and not get so stiff. And smile. And laugh again.
That was 1999, and I’ve been using them ever since. These magnetic wellness products, founded in Japan in 1975 by a wonderful visionary, can be found throughout my home and on my body at any given time.
The original shoe magnets fit into your shoes like insoles. In those days it was difficult for me to stand for more than a few minutes. The magnets helped almost immediately and not just with my feet. The stiffness in my hips and knees also improved. When I was able to go to Six Flags amusement park with my company—walking around, standing in line and even riding the rides—I thought, “How the heck do these magnets work? And can I sleep on these shoe things?”
That’s when I discovered magnetic sleep systems. I had to have one of those beds! I love my magnetic mattress. It is so wonderful to wake up with no discomfort.
Later, I added other products to my magnetic collection—the car seat for traveling, back magnet, gloves, the water system and showerheads, and the air system.
Magnetic wellness products are a staple in my life. Not long after I got my first pair of magnetic insoles I began telling my friends. They knew how ill I had been and that I had suffered quite a bit. One thing led to another and I began selling products to them, to their friends, to my family, to my clients and eventually to people I’ve never even met. My journey to wellness has led to a new and fulfilling career learning about how the body works that fascinates me to this day.
The results people have gotten have confirmed my own experience and then some. For me, these magical magnets were life changing, especially as one having to contend with chronic discomfort.
